Angela Gillis is Professor and Former Chair of the School of Nursing at St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She holds an adjunct appointment as Professor at Dalhousie University School of Nursing and is a Research Associate of the Atlantic Health Promotion Research Center, Dalhousie University. Her doctoral degree in nursing is from the University of Texas at Austin. Angela's research focuses on health promotion and lifestyle decision making, and issues in nursing education, nursing leadership, and recruitment and retention. Her teaching areas have included courses on contemporary trends and issues in Canadian health care, nursing research, and leadership and management. Angela is married and has two adult daughters. |
