Synthesis, gas-phase spectroscopic characterization (UV-vis, FT-IR, molecular photoelectron) and structural elucidation of unsaturated organic carbonyl compounds. Molecular modeling using molecular mechanics, semi-empirical and ab initio molecular orbital calculations.
