I am a Registered Psychologist teaching in the Psychology Department of St. Francis Xavier University. I teach courses in Learning and Health Psychology. In the past, I have had a small private practice in which I specialized in helping people develop self regulatory skills enabling them to gain increased control over thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I am now retired from private practice

I served a 9 year tenure as Chair of the Psychology Department, I am Past Chair of the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP), Past President of the St. Francis Xavier University Association of University Teachers (ST.FXAUT), Vice President of the Association of Nova Scotia University Teachers (ANSUT),  and I have served on numerous University committees.
