Academic History

Teaching

If you wish to meet with me, please email me suggesting a time and date. I generally teach every afternoon except Fridays, so morning appointments are best.

I am a Part-time Faculty member who teaches Comparative Anatomy (Biology 343) and sometimes Field Biology (Biology 307).

I am the departmental Senior Laboratory Instructor. In addition to logistical duties, I run labs for Biology 201 (Introductory Zoology) in the Autumn semester. In winter I run the labs for Biology 304 (Comparative Vertebrate Physiology).

Demonstrating in the Department of Biology: Undergraduates in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year are often needed to help out in the teaching labs. Application to do this is done in late August and very early September, the application form is downloadable here. Results of the application process will be viewable from this web page when the selection process has finished. They will also be announced on BioContact. If you are a biology student and not receiving messages from BioContact, please contact biology@stfx.ca and request to be added.

This is not a bird.
That is my Bird feeder...not my Bear feeder. You would think that this mammal would respect my zoological integrity, especially in my own yard!
