These scans are from a raccoon turned in to me by a trapper who told me the foot wouldn't bend. So I skeletonized it...there is a lot of fusion in the tarsals, as well as fusion of the distal fibula and tibia both together and with the neighbouring tarsals. The foot is under permanent inversion.
