He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of New Orleans (New Orleans, USA). He has also received an M.S in Finance & Economics from the University of New Orleans, and an MBA, B.Sc (Hons), and M.Sc (Hons) from India. Dr. Vijay Kumar Vishwakarma teaches Financial Management, Cases in Financial Management, Advance Financial Management, and International Financial Management. His main research interests lie in the studies of agency issues, mergers & acquisitions and options in emerging markets. He is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences of finance.
