ABOUT THE AUTHENTICITY OF RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE

This paper is concerned with three questions: 1. In connection with the meaning of life, when can we say that a human experience is authentic? 2. When can we say that a religious experience is authentic? 3. What are the criteria for distinguishing an authentic from an inauthentic religious experience? This problem--or better said, this question--is connected with a metaphysical conception that is thought like a systematic and rational reflection on deep experience of the meaning of existence.
