In early 2001, The Canadian Philosophical Association and the Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers invited Professor John Leslie—Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Guelph—to participate in a symposium devoted to his work.
Four members of the Canadian philosophical community were also asked to participate in the round table, each giving a short 15-20 minute paper—after which Professor Leslie responded and answered questions from the audience.
The participants were : Professors Elisabeth Boetzkes (McMaster University), Leslie Armour (Dominican College, Ottawa), James Gerrie (University of Guelph), and William L. Vanderburgh (Concordia University, Montreal). Professor William Sweet (St Francis Xavier University) chaired the session.
The participants, and Professor Sweet, have kindly allowed the CSCP to publish their papers here.
