In 2000, I was principal organiser of

• a conference on The Philosophy of History (funded by the SSHRC),
• a workshop on "Liberal Political Thought and Rights from the 18th to 20th Century" (in Bergen, Norway), and
• a series of workshops on metaphysics (in Rome, Italy).

In 1999, I was principal organiser of the International Conference on Bernard Bosanquet and the Legacy of British Idealism (Harris Manchester College, Oxford);
 

In 1998, I organised the annual meeting of The Atlantic Region Philosophical Association.
