HIGHLAND GAMES AND BICYCLE MEET AT ANTIGONISH ON AUGUST 22ND, 1899.
THE HIGHLAND SOCIETY will hold their Annual Sports on TUESDAY, AUG. 22nd, on the beautiful Grounds of the Athletic Association, and the fastest Track in the Province.
CEUD MILE FAILTE is extended to all Scots, and a cordial invitation to everybody else.

A Grand Feature of the Day will be the TWO-MILE EXHIBITION by RONALD J. MACDONALD, The Long-Distance Champion of the World, who will run with a galaxy of Swift Athletes, taking on a Fresh Man every quarter of a mile. Macdonald belongs to the Boston College Club, and wears the Colours of his College--MAROON and OLD GOLD, which he has so often carried to victory. He leaves his native County a few days later, and Patriotic Nova Scotians should avail themselves of the ONLY CHANCE of witnessing the performance of the world's Strongest and Fleetest Runners.
