Rankin stated that “Donald, son of Donald, son of John (Brown), married Sarah Grant…” I believe the correct line is Donald, son of Alexander, son of John (Brown) married Sarah Grant. Also the correct line for his brother Michael would be Michael, son of Alexander, son of John (Brown) married Mary MacDonald.
