Angus Gillis of the back settlement are Arisaig in the upper district of the County of Sydney 200 acres of land which said tract of land is situated lying and being in the said settlement and is abutted and bounded as follows according to the annexed plan that is to say

…beginning at the Northwest angle of Laughlan and Duncan Gillis lot of land and from

…thence running south 70° West 26 chains

…thence east 10° East 77 chains

…thence north 70° East 26 chains

…thence north 10° West 77 chains to the place of beginning
