Worthy Grant

 

William H. Worthy was a Halifax merchant when he was granted this land in 1817.  He almost certainly never occupied it. His name still appears on the grant in the 1912(?) Plan B-11-1, even though it was partially occupied by “Mrs. MacDougald.”
