Duncan MacDonald (Georgeville\BLDW60_4192.html)

This is a house site on the north side of the main road (Hwy 337) near Georgeville.  It was originally owned by Dan Orsley MacDonald.  He married and had the following children: John (eldest), Christie, Hughie (one of a number of prisoners murdered by a German SS general in WWII), Danny and Little Dunkie.  Little Dunkie was mentally and physically disabled.  Duncan as Dan Orsley’s son in law who lived in the house until he died in the 1950s and the house was abandoned in 1952.

The cellar is small with some exposed rock.  The foundation extends beyond it on two sides.  We did not measure it.

The following photo indicates little other than that there are two spruce trees growing over the cellar.

This photo shows the cellar filled with water.
