Dalton Family (Eigg Mountain Settlement History)

 

William Dalton (b.1786 - d. before 1838) married Alice [nee. Fitzgerald] Dalton (b.1795 - 1871+) both from Owning Townland, County Kilkenny, Ireland. [Mrs Dalton listed as widow in 1838 census with 3 boys and a girl between 6 and 14 years old and one girl over 14]

Richard Dalton (b. 1831 - 1871), located north [probably west has been mistaken for north] of Robert Power, 1878 [see Deed 502484287]

Mary Dalton (b. 1833 - 1911 +), married Pat Delaney (b.1831 - d. 1908)

 

William and Mary emigrated from Ireland in 1822 and applied for a grant of land in that year (see petition)
