Lot 28 (Eigg Mountain Settlement History)
This lot was originally settled by Donald MacDonald, who abandoned it around 1826 to move up the Mountain towards Highfield (i.e. lots 372, and 140) [his thinking is a mystery]. Laughlan Gillis applied for and received a grant of this land in 1829.
