Big Archie MacDonald (Eigg Mountain Settlement History)  (Map Location)

 

This is the smaller of the two cellars on the house site of Big Archie MacDonald.  It measures with a 20 X 16 ft. cellar.  The foundation may have extended to the east another 12 ft. (for a total of 28 by 20 ft.).  The 20 ft. side is oriented at 190°.  In other words the 28-foot side looked south.
