This figure shows typical contractions for just over half of the tracing. At the first X the air hose was moved to the closed gas valve (therefore no new air was entering the experimental chamber). Note that it took awhile for an effect, but the effect was quite noticeable. At the second X, the air was turned back on, and a rapid recovery is shown.
