Tearing Off Palettes

Some tools have tool palettes extending from them, indicated by an arrow at the bottom right of the tool button.

You can "tear off" these palettes and place them anywhere in the ChemDraw screen. You cannot dock torn off palettes.

To tear off a palette:

• Click the arrow on the lower right of the tool.
• Holding the mouse button down, point to the title bar and release the mouse button.

You can drag the palette by its title bar to reposition it.

You can also show or hide a palette by selecting it from the Other Toolbars submenu on the View menu.
