When you select Show R_f, a text label appears near the spot showing the spot's retention factor value. By default, the tag will show the R_f to two decimal places. You can change the tag as follows:

• Select the tag with the Lasso or Marquee tool and drag it to a new location, or Control-click on the tag and choose Position...
• Select the tag with the Text tool and edit the R_f value.

If you change the R_f the spot will move to the new position indicated.

If you edit the R_f to have different precision, that precision will be preserved.
