Creating Mirror Images

You can create mirror images from structures with defined stereochemistry by duplicating the structure and then flipping it.

To create a mirror image:

1. Draw a structure with defined stereochemistry, for example, wedged bonds.

2. Make a copy of the structure.

a. Select the structure

b. Option+dragthe structure.

3. While the structure is selected, from the Object menu, choose Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.
