Martin MacDonald

 

Martin MacDonald was born with no hands (or with deformed hands) and could not manage a farm.  He survived by relying on others.  He would for example, show up at different neighbours’ houses for supper.  In the 1920s he moved to another house near the Georgeville church.  He never married.  His father was a ship’s captain and was murdered in port overseas.
