research methods textbooks on the top shelf, and obesity journals on the bottom
shelf.

HNU 215 (Nutrition for a Healthy Lifestyle): This course introduces nutritional science and the role that nutrition, exercise, and other lifestyle behaviours play in the promotion of health. Topics include the function of food and its role in maintaining and promoting health, vegetarianism, food safety, body weight, and healthy eating.

HNU 467 (Advanced Nutrition): an in-depth study of energy metabolism in the human body. Students learn how nutrients are metabolized through the integration of human nutrition, biochemistry and – to a lesser degree – physiology.
