Selecting Objects by Clicking

To select an object by clicking:

1. Select the Lasso or the Marquee tool.

2. Point to an object in a document window.

A highlight box appears over the selected object. If you point at a bond, the highlight box appears over the length of the bond.

3. Click the object.

The selected objects appear within the Selection Rectangle and the cursor changes to a hand.

NOTE: If the bond or other object is part of a group you can select it as an individual object. For more information, see "Grouping Objects".
