Developed by Dr. Boyle in partnership with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists, CQI-IS is an iPad-based online application that allows provincial pharmacy inspectors to assess how well community pharmacies are meeting provincial policies with respect to QRE reporting and learning.

The tool, among other things, rates pharmacy performance in meeting provincial polices with respect to QRE reporting, identifies areas for improvement, allows staff to self-assess their pharmacy’s QRE reporting performance, and sends e-mail reminders to pharmacies for quarterly meetings and annual safety self-assessments.
